SAKURA SI is established as a spin-off from SAKURA SEIKI on 4th, January, 2005. We have service work activities in the field of sterilization equipment, distilled water manufacturing machine, bioreactor and pharmaceutical equipment etc. mainly.

Our company has extended our market from field of pharmaceutical, medical device, foods, cosmetics to field of previous process and later process of sterilization. And we have extended the market from domestic to overseas with drawing on our experiences.

Pharmaceutical and medical device field is progressed always to be indispensable things for humankind. SARKURA SI try to contribute to the society and to aim to be a company to respond to this with creating an organization that inherits the spirit of SAKURA group.

We will work on the developing of new products and supporting to customer based on the latest global standard in times of drastic change.

SAKURA SI will continue to leap forward based on abundant technical capabilities and proposal capabilities.

History

Our parent company, SAKURA SEIKI is doing it’s business focusing on the medical field for long term. Our precursor, Business technology center was established within Sakura-Seiki for the business expansion to the new area in the industry field in April, 1981.
Afterwards, to cope with the increasing needs from industry and science field and to meet the various requirement of regulation such as GLP,GMP or biotechnology, our business was expanded and renamed to SI division.
In January 2005, to be specialized to our own field, the company was divided from SAKURA SEIKI as SAKURA SI.
And our name SI has a wide meaning as “Science & Industry” or “System & Information”.

Before established SAKURA SI (SAKURA SEIKI Co., Ltd.)

April, 1981	Sales Technology Center”(predecessor of SAKURA SI) was established in the sales technology head office of SAKURA SEIKI to expand our business for the industrial field.
January, 1982	Promoted to division due to increased demand for the industry field. Renamed section name to “Industrial Equipment Sales Section”.
April, 1985	Merged industrial equipment sales section and science device section, promoted to division. Renamed division name to “SI Sales Division”.
October, 1988	Promoted to department. Renamed division name to “SI Department”.

Established SKURA SI Co., Ltd.

January, 2005	SAKURA SI (capital ¥50,000,000) for industrial and science field established as a spin-off from SAKURA SEIKI.And established Osaka sales office and Okayama sales office when established company.
October, 2007	Relocate Osaka sales office Transfer industrial sales section tasks from SAKURA SEIKI and established Nagano sales office.
October, 2008	Established Nagoya sales office Transfer tasks related industrial design from SAKURA SEIKI and established Nagano engineering department.
March, 2009	Relocate Osaka sales office
October, 2009	Change the organization to 3 departments system to strengthen management system and execution system.
March, 2010	Relocate head office and Tokyo sales office
January, 2011	Relocate Nagano sales office
February, 2011	Released the Oval Type”High-Pressure sterilizer”the first in Japan.
October, 2011	Relocate engineering department.
October, 2012	Merged Osaka and Okayama sales office to strengthen west Japan sales capabilities and office functions.And renamed from office to section and relocated office.
April, 2013	Merged Nagoya sales office to Osaka sales office to strengthen west Japan sales capabilities and office functions.
November, 2017	Appointed new chairman and new president. Satoru Ishizuka (Chairman & CEO) Masamichi Kinoshita (President & COO)
June, 2022	Masamichi Kinoshita is appointed as president and CEO.
